How We Make a Difference
We make it a priority to expand our reach and help even more animals that are homeless or have been abandoned by giving our time and skills within our communities for the animal shelters and rescues that rely heavily on community support. We make a difference through our actions by hosting fundraisers, networking, volunteering, collecting donated items from our communities, visiting shelters and rescues in person and with our volunteers if all ages to assist and make donations, engage in animal advocacy, and provide homeless animal education. We network and fundraise with neighbors, family, friends, organizations, schools, and businesses to raise money and gather supplies for the people who work tirelessly to protect and adopt out the animals in their care.

SHARING
We assist in raising awareness of these local organizations through social media, schools, and in our communities. We visit each Shelter and Rescue in person, building relationships, so that we can be an informed resource for them no matter when they need it.
VOLUNTEERING
We volunteer our time to help care for and socialize animals, assist in adoptions, organize fundraising, and provide much needed support to the staff and volunteers. By volunteering, we make a direct impact on the lives of animals in need and create a more compassionate, humane world
HELPING TO SUPPORT SHELTERS & RESCUES
Fur the Love of Paws supplies local animal rescues and shelters with much needed supplies for the homeless animal population so that their time can be spent finding forever families and caring for the animals in order to save their lives from euthanasia.
Some common "wish list" items include:
Food, Animal Bedding or Accessories, Toys, Treats, Paper Towels, Laundry Detergent, Cleaning Supplies, New and/or Used Blankets/Linens/Towels (if used must be clean), Crates, and/or Grooming supplies.

SHARING ON SOCIAL MEDIA & RAISING AWARENESS
We assist in raising awareness of local shelter and rescue organizations through social media; partnering and fundraising with schools in our communities both in person and online. We donate and offer our time and resources hoping to create a “pawsitive” experience to ensure animals are receiving the best care which will help them become more adoptable. Fur The Love Of Paws supports and builds relationships with our homeless animal organizations so that we can be a resource for them, as well as a resource to our community. We are all working hand in hand together to make a significant difference for our animal friends and our warriors out there who dedicate their lives to saving, protecting, and finding the homeless animals their FUREVER homes!
VOLUNTEERING OUR TIME & EFFORT
We volunteer our time with one goal in mind, and that is to lend a helping hand to shelters and rescues in order to ultimately support a favorable outcome and find their animals a loving forever family. Some of the ways we do this is through financial support to help rescues fund medical care, food, supplies and other necessary resources. We assist in bringing volunteers to the organizations we work with to help with caring for, cleaning after, walking, socializing, and feeding the animals in their care. We host fundraising campaigns, network the shelters and rescues on social media, pick up and deliver community donations, and help to educate our community regarding the homeless animal population. By donating our time and energy, we are able to make a direct impact on the lives of animals in need and help to create a more compassionate and kind world for all living beings.

Love Fur Animals & Passion to Serve:
Our Story
In 2014, Denise and Gina met and quickly became friends, sharing a love for dogs and a passion in helping to make a difference in the lives of homeless animals. Day after day, they would witness heart breaking stories of animals that were lost, abandoned, abused, and/or injured and dumped off to the local shelters. Wanting to make a difference in any way they could, they recognized a need to support all the heroes that work and volunteer at animal shelters and rescues. For years the women donated their time and skills, along with their families and friends, to assist in fulfilling the needs of shelters and rescues. They provided items like food, toys, beds, blankets, towels, money needed for medical issues, and cleaning supplies. They took this approach so that those who dedicate their lives to save homeless animals
could spend more time focusing on adoptions.
By 4th quarter of 2019, they decided to become a registered 501c3 to make their efforts official for the communities in which they live that supported them. “Fur The Love of Paws” received their approval from the state of Arizona as a registered non-profit in March of 2020.
